Plant it now and set the pumpkin further out on the vine but prepare for
some cool days between now and summer.

David planted a seed last week in a 4-inch peat pot, just to see if his
homemade hot house is working.
Now he has this HUGE seedling with 2-3/4 inch dicots and two leaves.
It seems way too soon to put this in the ground, but ...
Can any of you help, particularly my California colleagues? Vince, Mike,
Kenny, Greg, George?
Ninety seven degrees here yesterday, by the way.
