I usually germinate my seeds around the 8th or 10th of May. It seems that
in our climate
every time that I have started in late April that my pumpkins reach maturity
well before the weigh-offs.........a possible exception to this would be a
plant
that I am starting to use mainly as a male pollinator. I like to start
those early (tonight as
as matter of fact) so I will have lots of males when I need them.
I agree with Vince, I think that you plant is probably "pot bound".
