Glenn,
I find Gold Rush get powdery mildew as easily as Howden. Need to use a good fungiciede program. If you want to see more field pumpkin at wiegh-offs.....grow them and take them....I would guess most site would be willing to wiegh field pumpkins, and possible make field pumpkins a real class....Bob

Glenn:The Gold rush is better nice  big stem. There is another pumpkin from
the same company called Gold medallion,which is just as good  as the gold
rush ,because it was cross with the gold rush .It is more resistant against
powdery mildew.
