PNWGPG 250 Dollar Reward
The Pacific Northwest Giant Pumpkin Growers has put up
a challenge to encourage growers to plant unproven
seeds from theirs or another member's 2003
pumpkin/squash seed. We are offering a $250.00 award
to the largest of all the combined PNWGPG sanctioned
events.
- Must be a member of the PNWGPG
- Must be weighed at a PNWGPG sanctioned event, this
will be determined by the PNWGPG Board
- Seed stock must come from a 2003 pumpkin, and the
grower must have been a member in the PNWGPG in 2003
- The pumpkin/squash must have been judged official,
and been within the rules at the weigh-off it was
taken and weighed at
- In the event of a tie, there will be a split in
the winnings
- The PNWGPG will be the final judge, and payment
will be sent by mail
We are sorry to get this information out so
late in the year. We thought this would be a fun way
to encourage selection of previous years seeds from
within the club.
