Re: GPC Future and Goals and Leadership

Bob many growers are uncertain of the direction...but I've also seen some
postive efforts to clear up long overdue issues regarding color....about
time.....nothing will ever be perfect, but I'll give them "A" for the fine
effort over the last year......as for self appointed officer's I am against
it, let the growers as awhole body decide......but then again how many have
the time to lend a hand to organize the World Pumpkin and Squash
community.......this hobby will grow regardless, each year new interest will
unfold and some will pack it up for various reasons......great sport , hobby
or passtime, what ever you want to label it....I enjoy the challenge and the
fine friends one meets along the way.........my only question is what will
the sponsors of the Weigh-offs say when a 75% green pumpkin win's the GPC
title.......wayne
