looking for good seeds for huge pumpkin at my wedding

i'm in south east michigan and want to display my giant pumpkin at our  
halloween wedding. i have only had limited success 150-200 was my max. so far.  any 
help on some good seeds or growing instructions would be appreciated, i have  
the growing giant pumpkin books but it didn't seem to help. i guess i need to 
 get good seeds, know what and how much and how often to add stuff like  
fertilizer. how much and how often to water etc.  i dug huge pits like in  the 
book, because i have clay. i filled my four pits with 20 yards of compost,  made 
from leaves and trees. this year is important to me, i need to grow a giant  
of 500# or bigger, i'd love a record pumpkin but i doubt that will ever happen. 
 anyhow please help a fellow pumpkin farmer out.
