RE: Soil Ammendment Questions

I looked at my test from A&L for the 2005 season and under the
recommendations it says to limit Nitrogen initially to 1.5Lbs N/1000 sq
ft to avoid salt damage and divide the remaining nitrogen evenly over
the active growing season, adjusting for local conditions.

I understand 7.4 is ok. It'll sour some over the season. You'll probably
end up around 6.9 or 7 depending on what you dump out there.

Subject: Soil Ammendment Questions

I got the following report from A and L labs. It recommends 5lbs or N,
3lbs
of P and 0lbs of K (per 1000sqft). Can I add 5 lbs of N at once, or
should I
do it incrementally (salt damage???). Also, my pH is 7.4, how will this
affect my AG season? I can send anyone the report via email who is
willing
to give me some suggestions.

Thanks very much
