Direct seeding in my opinion is an advantage because the seedling can blast
off.  THAT IS IF the conditions are Right.  Test have shown that clear
plastic warms the soil more effectively. Acting as a low greenhouse.  Draw
back is weeds can grow also.  Another thing to consider is how many of one
particular seed you have.  if you have only two of an awesome cross I
wouldn't risk direct seeding. there are all kinds of things that want to
eat that burried jewel let alone fungus,bacteria etc...  So if you have
plenty of back-up direct seeding is advantageous.  Need a greenhouse over
