Re: Bubbling Seeds...


Sounds a bit weird to me.
Seeds are covered with an inhibiter which prevents quick germination. Any
technique that removes the inhibitor should speed the process. Normally
that just requires soaking for a couple of hours in hot water (well the
water is allowed to cool in the process). Some people scrape the seeds to
get rid of the inhibitor. Bubbling the seeds may produce the same effect
but prolonged drowning will kill them.
