I took the seeds out of my pumpkin on the weekend. The inside was rotten and
smelly and the seeds were floating in a foul smelling liquid, two had
already germinated. I dried them out but they are very light in weight and
don't look too promising. The seeds were huge.
One and a half inches long. They look like GIANT pumpkin seeds.
I don't suppose a big seed will always produce a bigger pumpkin?
The time came to chop up the pumpkin for the compost pile, I carefully
dragged the two pieces to the top of the heap and placed them together so
they looked like a pumpkin again, then I walked
away..............................I will let nature break it down for me.
