Stewart,
You have brought up an excellent question about fertilizer injectors. Any
time you are injecting anything into a watering system, precautions should be
taken. A check valve or backflow preventer should be installed before the
injector. It is unlikely that a siphon condition could flow back through a
dosamatic, but a back flow preventer is relatively cheap and will protect
your water supply. The people that sell injectors will also sell backflow
preventers .
