Hello everyone,
Just got through peeking at the 14 seeds I have planted. Inspected
about 5 and all were sprouting and looking good. I think my investment
of building a little green house will pay off. I'm knocking on wood now
in hopes of continued success. Should have plants breaking the potting
soil surface by Saturday or Sunday.
I plan to protect my pumpkins in the garden with 4'x4' square frame
about 3' high and surrounded with clear plastic. I can cover if needed
on cool nights. I am predicting to transplant to the garden in 2-3
weeks. If I have my plants in 1 gallon pots, will I be able to hold out
till 3 weeks before transplanting? I don't want to damage or get root
bound to hurt the plants.
