Wayne,
I had the same problem last year with all my Prizewinners, as soon as the
temps cooled the fruit set.
Do you know approximately how long the pollination process takes once you
have hand pollinated. That is to say once the female has received pollen
from the male how long is the plants internal process to conception, fruit
set?
The reason I ask is, I have been told that one should not overhead water,
or if watering with a garden hose be very careful not to get water splashed
or sprayed anywhere near the fruit you are attempting to set.
I do not know if this is fact or fable, if fact I am overhead watering with
emitters and will need to turn them off accordingly during this period of
time!
Thanks
