Pumpkin weighing

Hi All,

Well the day came to get my pumpkin weighed. As there was no weigh-off here
I organised to have it weighed at Queanbeyan Rural Supplies. I got three
blokes from work and tied straps the the corners of a tarp. We rolled the
pumpkin on to the tarp and then had a struggle to lug the beast to the
front porch where we got a trailer level with the top step and lugged it
on. 
I had no idea how I would get it off at the other end but they were very
helpful and lifted it with a fork-lift truck onto the scales.
It weighed in at 204.5 kg (451 lbs), if only there had been a competition
here. 
Never mind there is always next year.
