Jim Asberry, Tenn. 716, l991

Jim Asberry grew the largest pumpkin ever grown in the southeast US at
716, in 1991, weighing it off at the WPC site in Allardt. He needs to be
included in the top 1000, as well as WV grower Ron Boor with his 651 and
604, both grown in 1997.

Watch for Ron Boor to go over 700 this year and break the southern
record! He had a 700 + go down last year a week before the weigh-off.
