I just received my soil test results taken in March.
Here are my results.
organic matter% - 9.1%
soil pH - 6.4
Phosphorus 436ppm
Potassium 444ppm
Magnesium 450ppm
Calcium 1600ppm
CEC 14.2
Potassium Cation: 8%
Magnesium Cation: 26.5%
Calcium Cation: 56.5%
Hydrogen Cation: 9.0%
Soil texture: Loam soil
They recommended adding 18 lbs. of 15-0-15 per 1000 square ft. Or
adding 13 pounds of sulfate of ammonia (21-0-0) and 5.5 pounds of potassium
sulfate (0-0-50) per 1000 sq. ft.
How does that sound? Any suggestions, tips, comparisons would be a great
help.
The pH is a little lower than I would like it but I guess it's not too
bad.Should I add any lime this late? I have heard that some levels may be
very high but as long as they are in balance with the other levels it
should be ok?
Thanks,
John
