Don't feel bad, same here in Moraga. The soil had dried to a depth of about
2", beneath this it is like a sponge, no that is not Texas tea just ringing
wet! It started raining again, heading towards Southern Calif.! Don't be
over anxious to plant the growing season here in Calif is fast. I would
venture to say if you have your plants in the ground by May 20 you would
still be in great shape for an October 4 weigh off, or in the case of Half
Moon Bay October 13th.
