As i am trying to divide up the patch into individual plant sites I was
thinking are the humugus plants that exceed 1000sq....plants that have had
there secondaries have been thinned.....if so it seems that you get bigger
vines and leaves to compensate for the loss....pruning would send more
juice to the existing vines thus reaching this 1000sq ft distance
quicker....the less you prune the smaller the leaves and vines
are......but more root junctions are created..but seems like everything is
smaller...........and is this a hinderence to the fruit........... is
pruning a timing issue to force root developement, then plant, root, plant
on and on..........seems like its better to create large mouth i mean vine
to feed the pumpkin.......any thoughts?
