ZOO DOO BLUE

Alright my friends, the Germinator I am not. Placed all my seeds (six)
in my cooler at 80 degrees Friday at 5:00 pm. Come in on Monday and
nothing is going on. I dig them up the only one that had a small root
coming out was Al Eatons 853 and as is usual for ZOO I proceeded to
accidentally knock it off when replanting it. ( Al could you find it in
your heart to send me a couple more. It was the largest seed I had ever
seen.) I used my organic soil, sterlized in the oven, to pot in. I
dipped them in Captan before placing them in. I filed the edges until I
saw a dark line that went around the seed. I did not do anything to the
pointed part. My 697 looks to be gumming up while the others still look
OK I guess. I have washed them off, redipped them in captan and placed
them in some regular potting type soil. They could still come up in time
but the seeds I gave to my kids class were about three inches tall at
this point all they did was to put them in a pot next to a window!. 2
1/2 days may not be enough time to tell whether I screwed up on these
some how but just don't have a good feeling here. As I have told my good
friend Beth Rado, "I usually kill them worrying about whether their dead
or not." (Al's seed for example) There is time though to start fresh.

The problem is that I have given away all the hot seeds I collected that
I was not planning to plant. Any of my friends out there that think they
have a good seed for ZOO DOO how about sending it my way ASAP. Canniff
how about that Donkers?
