Pumpkineers,
Well, The weather is still too cold to plant, but my plants are getting
up there, and spend the daylight hours in thier new home, the temporary
greenhouse in the garden, and get brought back in at night. The updates
are as follows:
1. Holland 897 - Nearly 7 inches tall after 10 days out of soil. Kinda
bent over it is so top heavey, as is the 649 from Joel.
2. Andersen 977 - This poor fella has had a rough life so far, being a
little crooked at birth(the seed was kinda curved a bit at the pointy
end), he made it through the birthing canal, but lost half of one leaf
coming through.. He is a trooper though, and continues to slowly get up
. growing nearly 4 inches so far.
3. Andersen 815 - This seed so far, is the strongest, largest, and most
aggressive grower yet. Reaching heights of nearly 10 inches in 10 days,
A third leaf has started to grow, and it stands straight up, real tall
for nto being transplanted yet.
As of right now, I can only speculate, but the Holland seeds are
slightly ahead of the Andersen seeds, but it is way too close to call..
heehee Go 977!!!
Just remember, Where ever u go, u will be there.
