Hello Alan,
Well today, the 614 Boat broke through the dirt. Also, the handy
906xjones600 from your 650. Took 10 very long days! My son-in-law,
Juan, who I shared the seeds with, has this awesome germination
system working! He has lights, heating coils, the works! We bought
4 gal. of seaweed immultion. We are watering with a teaspoon per
gallon. Seeing as we started watering our winter rye with the
seaweed, we thought we'd water the seedlings too.
My friend's mother-in-law has a tiller we are buying for $100. Our
fertilizing program can be pretty costly. A 5lb. bag of 0-60-0 costs
about $7.50. We need to know where we can purchase larger quantities
of the different fertilizers? As you know our growing area is kinda
small.
Not seeing you on the the site for awhile I often think about last
year at this time when you finally appeared one day and said, "don't
have time to sit down at PC when trying to gow AG's". Me and Juan
often
wonder what Masterpumpkin is doing?
We are still reading our books and enjoying the hell out of it!
Question? We just shovelled 2 pick-up trucks of cow manurer from a
farm. It has no smell to it and we took the area that was, I guess,
dehydrated. You think we should add this when we till, or is it too
late! Maybe save it for the season for dressing?
Hope you are also having fun also! Fun? I have a sore back from
shovelling and wheel barrelling! Pretty funny!
Hope to hear from you! Your pumpkin friend,
Tony Palumbo
