Looks good, but I use the CucurByte program and cannot add (self) or
(sib). It can be added to "comments" in the pumpkin information screen, but
when looking at hierarchy trees, there would be no way of telling the
difference between sibbed or selfed without brining up the "pumpkin
information" screen. In picking the pollinator the options available are
"not specified", "open", "self" or the full name. What I suggest is when
writing parentage, 600 Rivard 98 x 600 Rivard 98 would automatically be
percieved as a sib whereas 600 Rivard 98 x self is obvious. This way there
would never be any doubt with sibbed or selfed.

As for "open", as we have seen a few times already, some growers use pollen
from two different plants. This is still classified (rightly) as an open
cross, but for informations sake, I put in all the names of the pollinators
in the "comments" portion of the information screen.

What do you think?

Till next time...
