Hi All,
This morning I was in the local Ace hardware and bought some seeds from
France.
The company is "Gondian".
There is a picture of a green-skinned pumpkin, with an orange middle.
The text reads:
(Curcubita moschata)
Courge
MUSCADE DE PROVENCE
Curcubitacee
The Hebrew translation says "Giant Red Pumpkin". Is this translation
correct?
Cost was about US$1.60 for about 25 seeds.
Has anyone grown these before? How big do the fruits grow?
And most important, how much area do the plants take up?
Also, I have planted some butternut squash already. How far away should I
plant these French
pumpkins so that I have no pollinization problems?
Many thanks,
Josh
