RE: cloning pumpkins - New theory

Some plants can be grown from tissue cultures eg. roses. Perhaps that can
be done with AG's. That wouldn't neccesarily require a university lab, but
the assistance of a well trained and skilled nurseryman, or woman. It
happens that I know one. I'll probably give him a call and see what kind of
insight he can give me on this idea. The idea has merit and may be more
doable than I originally thought. Some well defined goals should be
established though before embarking on this, otherwise we would be wasting a
lot of time and effort. Participants would have to be willing to make
detailed observations on many different variables but a lot could be learned
by doing this.
