Molly's choice for the fourth seed was the 759 Mombert 97 her reasoning
was that it was in the bigger envelope. I love the way those 6 year old
minds work. I like her choice because this seed produced the 847 Daletas 98
and I have two more of them. All my seeds are in 4" peat pots in sterile
starting mix.
They were placed in my oven with the light bulb on. I'm not sure of the
temp
but it's worked well for me in the past. I placed a note on the oven knob
so
it won't get turned on without my wife noticing that it was already being
used.
I've already been there and done that with baked peat pots and pumpkin
seeds during test germinations. One additional soil supplement I failed to
mention will be 50 lbs. of alfalfa pellets tilled in, it's a great organic
source
of slow release nitrogen and inexpensive too.
