PUMPKINEERS,
AAAAAAAAARGH!!!! Seed selection is going to give me a heart attack
alone.. heehee I had the Lloyd 935 out with the Ciliberto 697, then
switched to a Mombert 866 and the Mettler 865, and now have the 1092
Burke out with the Mombert 940. Thats it.. Those two.. no wait.. ahh
well..Very tough decision, but kept a few of the big league seeds for a
possible auction for a GPC site next year at our local Northern Tier
Giant Pumpkin Growers Assiciation Weigh Off. 500 Bucks is alot of money
for a small area like ours, but we did have some pretty big monsters
last eyar and the past few years also. top 5 average last year wasnt
OSLGA type numbers, but we did alright coming in at 500 + pounds for 98.
I'm sure I am not the only one with coronary problems over this..
heeeheee Starting indoors tonite... Soil just not warm enough yet for a
direct start. Good Luck to all this year!
