RE: Pumpkin Fruit Cracked

Hello Gianluca-I believe you can use any garden centre fungicide on Atlantic
Giants.Sulpher is fine.

Here,in Canada,I have used several types and sometimes alternate them.I use
them in solution in a small sprayer and they all work.

A word of caution better to use a light concentration than too much.

Hi People,
I have a problem with my pumpkin fruit.
Next day my pumpkins (estimated weight was 100 pound) had cracked
near the stem and yet I am very worried because it can rotting.
I have read in the book that I need make a paste with fungicide
Captan or Benomyl.
I have researched in the garden center of Switzerland for Captan or
Benomyl but I have nothing find.
I have speaked with the garden center's man and he talled me that I
can use Zineb or Sulfur.
My question is what I must use Zineb or Sulfur (sulfur is most
cheaper than Zineb) ?
Thank you in advance

Your friend in Switzerland

Gianluca
