Glenn,
I have two like this. Very short hooked stems that even growing on the 
outside of a curve cannot help. If powers far mightier than I are benign, I 
might take a very large pumpkin to a contest. Quasi is now at 259 OTT and 
growing well. But I am afraid he is going to tear himself a new one.
