Checkon, went bad past Sunday. Developed soft spot near blossom end. I cut

apart earlier today. Estimated weight a little over 150 pounds but the wall
thickness was impressive. Much heavier than most of the fruits I've culled
at
this size. Might be good news for anyone who gets an 815 to a scale this
Fall.

Sorry to hear of yours too Marv...at least i wont be the only one at the
dance alone !!
I still have a small squash and a couple halloweeners I may take if they
surviive just to participate but losing the biggie hurts.Its not a
surprise..it was trouble early on...just a matter of time I guess. So now
what do we do?..............g
