I guess a juicer would work great ... save the time of
running it through a strainer. unless there was
smaller pieces of the mixtrue that made it through
that would help?   but i don't have a juicer anyway. 
if you have a juicer you could make a batch... take a
drink... and give your plant the rest.  just watch out
for to much of that prune juice ! 

I don't know one needs he lets it sit a week?  
maybe you don't, maybe fresher is better - i don't
know. 

is potash high in acidity ?
if there wasn't a burn ban in effect now, i might have
a little bon fire !
