Casey: They are internal cracks in the wall of the pumpkin, and they are
thin in these areas.

I am pretty sure my pumpkin Iris has a dill ring. I know what a dill ring
looks like but not exactly why pumpkins get them and what they can do. Is
the wall of the pumpkin where the dill ring is thin? i heard cracks can
occur because of dill rings so should i be concerned? any info would be
greatly appreciated.
