Pumpkin exploded at blossom end!
I went out to admire my pumpkin, it had been growing at a fairly rapid
weight when unfortunately today I noticed that it had split wide open at the
blossom end! WHY??? It of course was the biggest, and with the cold temps
and early frost, I think my dreams of beating my last years weight is out of
the question. Do you think it split because of the shape it was? It was a
big cowpie. I feel like ripping the plant out, but have a 25lbs on a
secondary; well be good for Halloween.
