WAYNE,
I'm in St. Catharines in a suburb surrounded by wood fences and I live just
below the escarpment. It seems like I'm in a micro enviroment being
surrounded on three sides by the escarpment. Also I think my early start is
an advantage at this stage but there is still another 6 weeks which is a
lifetime. It was pollinated on June 29 and it was my third pumpkin on the
main. This was my smaller pumpkin my first split on me at the blossom end
and culled it on August 8 this one was 200 pounds a head of the one still
growing so we nicknamed it tiny. Do you live in Ontario also, is that what
you mean by your comments? I would be interested in hering from you, I'm at
apapez@home.com if you want to go private.
