Re: AIRPLANE FACTS & PUMPKIN
Diana,
I see we a have glimps of the next version of the
Doucet effect...
appearantly now it has nothing to do with pumpkins ?
but pumpkin growers...
I must object on techincal grounds. Theories and
effect can not be expanded to a scope that was so far
outside the original premise as to make it totally
unreconizable. such a effect must be renamed any
decent scientist knows this.
I propose the new name to Doucet I Pushed Tanners
buttons theory, or DIPTBT.
yes your last post was "so" stimulating that it pushed
my buttons but technically full of hot air. and good
for you for "getting me". if that is what your goal
was then you acheived it. if not... well then i don't
know it was- maybe this is just your way of backing
down because i kicked your butt as far as your theory
applies to pumpkins.
fine by me. if you don't want a techincal discusion
then don't start it and continure it.
as for technical oratory... that's what i do
everyday... and i'd better be good at because it's my
job in the aircraft industry.
I still hope you grow a big one... just not as
big as i hoped last time !
:)
Thanks for you note paul... i guess i should mellow
out ! but pumpkins in airplanes was along the main
thread and who did what in pumpkin history i think
could be considered as "pumpkins", could it not ?
i'll "stay" on topic now !

Gordon,
Thanks for your well thought out input. I'm glad you
found my last post so stimulating and that you still
have a sense of humor after my little ribbing.
I agree with much of what you state in your analysis,
but you are clearly wrong saying the Doucet Effect is
of no consequence. It certainly has managed to push
your buttons and cause you to explode in technical
oratory. (or was that implode.)
Please stop before I split a gut laughing. (Yet
another problem induced by the Doucet Effect.)
The Doucet Effect is alive and well. (and applies to
more than just pumpkins)
