RE: looking for CA sun


Welcome to giant pumpkin growing in Western Washington.  If I had any tricks
for making the clouds part and the air warm up I would be using them right
now.  Growth is slowing to a crawl here.  All I can hope for is better
weather in September to get some more weight on them.  It's not something we
can count on in this part of the country though.  At least you can have a
reasonable expectation that it will improve for you soon.
