Yo Teri,
        I've had a few ooze from the stem end and also from the blossom end.
The one that oozed on the stem end had no cracks..it was just oozing out of
the skin..it stopped afer a few days of feeding with calcium nitrate...do
not know if the calcium nitrate did the job or if it would have stopped
anyway...but calcium nitrate is used to stop blossom end rot in tomatoes.
