The extra N&P will promote plant growth when you want fruit growth. What I do is use a small amount of 20 20 20 and then I spray separately with a seaweed spray by Neptune that is just Potassium. Just a suggestion.

I've been told there is no since thing as a dumb question, just dumb people asking them!! So anyway, OK, now I have to start using a 10-10-40, What if I use a 20-20-20 @ 2x the amount (instead of 1 tbsp, use 2 tbsp. , Don't I effectively have the required K level and the other amounts being high what does it hurt? the plant is in fruit stage anyway so what would it hurt with a little extra N,P?
