Re: Patch update

Mike,
I'm also a beginner....as a matter of fact I didn't grow this year.. I will
grow next spring...been spending all my time preparing my patch for next
spring...reading as much information I can about growing pumpkins and hoping
I get some good seeds from fellow pumpkin growers....but the best thing I
can adviced you is to pick up a copy of Don Langevin's ...how to grow world
class giant pumpkins II,this book has been a great help to me ...will answer
just about any typical question you have...has great pictures and the ABC
type guide to growing pumpkins...alot of his information has come from the
heavy hitters that have been successful at growing world class size pumpkins
year after year...hope this helps you Roger from PA
