I just thought that
banner BING BANG POW sounded funny and would get your
attention, HA HA.
OK here is the question since the weather here in
SUNNY SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA ??? has been cool like our winters I am getting
surge growth. No
growth at night and 17 to 25 lbs growth during the day
according to my
measurements at 8:30pm and 4:30 am. The stem on my CARNAGE
is rippled with
cracks running length wise and has a nice case of stem rot
but The FLYING
DUTCHMAN is growing just as fast and has no cracks at all.
Neither does Bob
Troys Beautiful pumpkins. Is this genetics? The vine is
as loose as a noodle
and still more cracks??? well I can't figure it out..
Another question CARNAGE (791 Glasier X 723 Bobier) has
measurements of
109 Circumference (321 lbs)
68 stem
to blossem
66.5 side to side
Total 243.5 (305 lbs)

It is low and other than some nice shoulders is pretty
flat. Since there is
very little "fall" on the tape on a flat pumpkin does
that mess up the
measurements or does it still hold true? which
measurement should I go by ??
The Flying Dutchman (986 Hester

It is Tall, ROUND as a bowling ball and "just
