 The idea of terminating vine growth is to prune the tips of the secondaries
and the primary not allowing the plant to produce future leaves. This tip is
one of the meristematic sites where nutrients are focused to produce new
growth. If you terminate the tips this neutrient flow will be directed to the
other meristimic zones, which are the root tips and fruit. since the roots
are 89% developed the energy will naturally be forced to the only meristimic
zone left undeveloped. Through respiration these Phosphorous containing
carbon compounds along with Auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins, abscisic acid ,
and ethylene are still produced at the same rate that they were when the
growth tips were active in the vines so in return A BIGGER PUMPKIN and fully
developed roots..
 OR UMM SOMETHING LIKE THAT, I AIN'T TOO EDUCATED BUT I SURE DO TRY
HARD..... HA HA
