Hi List Members

This pumpkin growing hobby can sure get you upset some days. A quick trip
to
the patch this morning to check on my golden boy "Vegas", ruined my day. A
large crack had appeared through the side ribs. Pumpkin blood was dripping
into the soil. There wasn't anything I could do to save him.  Vegas has
gone
off to a better patch somewhere.  He was 290 ott with a circumference of
133
inches at 46 days since pollination.

Oh the pain

I know that feeling oh too well.  August can be a cruel month in this hobby.
Only a good season in the future will help it fade.  Sorry to hear about the
loss.
