RE: Est Final weight.
How does this work for late starts or dates beyond September 20th? What
about new fruit set for October 31st harvest? I had a bad July and some
of my fruit sets are 10-14 days old & don't make the charts yet but
won't be in a weighoff--just Halloween this year.

Fellow AG Devotees
I like playing with numbers and have come up with a formula that can be
used
to get an estimate of final weight.
1.Multiply the number of days remaining to Sept 20 by half your present
average daily weight gain.
2.Add this figure to your present AG weight estimate.
There are a lot of variables but I tried this on my 974.5-2000,at
various
dates in Aug-Sept and the estimate final weight is amazingly
consisent.Different climates and numerous other variables are in play
but
you might enjoy a peek ahead.
This is of course for an AG that doesn't develop problems that inhibit
growth and any +/- percentage in relation to the Stellpflug tables is
another matter.
Warning---- as always don't get too excited if you are heading for a
monster
but think in terms of "cautiously optimistic"--AE
P.S.--anyone want to post their estimate??
