Re: how many days till seeds are mature enough to save?

I would dry them out & then test germ. about 25-30 seeds and go from there. I have always heard 45-50 days for good seeds but if you really like the cross I would give it a shot.
Hope I've been of some help......Paul

Subject: how many days till seeds are mature enough to save?

Dear list,
Is there anyway to save the seed from a pumpkin when it splits at 37 days, blossom end, 1" all the way to the cavity? Losing the pumpkin was sad but really want this seed, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Amy
