you better hold on!!!!

I've got my eye on things here.presently I'm getting gentle rain. Hope I
don't have to make a mad dash with a tarp. Have already made the decision
which one of my plants will get protection if needed.
Good to know you guys are thinking of, and watching out for us PGPGA guys.
While I'm here I'll give a brief update: The 946 Geerts plants has a
est.450lb fruit @ 39 days. The 801 Stelts is a day later and about 70 pounds
behind, but it sure is a pretty pumpkin. Yeah I know, "this ain't no beauty
contest".
My younger son,13yrs. pollinated a fruit on one of my backup plants and that
immediately made it a keeper. This means the patch is a little more cramped
than I'd prefer but it's worth it to have him involved with the patch. He
pollinated his on the same day that I did the 946 and is nearing 400 pounds
with a wheel on a 932 McIntyre uow. We've kept that plant pruned to about 200
sq. ft. but it still has decent growth rate and I am hoping to see him get at
least a 500 pounder.
later,
gotta get back to the window and watch weather,
Marv
