Pumpkin sales

1) Many 200 to XXX lb pumpkins are left in patches on weighoff day because growers have larger fruits.
 
2) Non-growers who attend weighoffs would likely love to have a 200 - XXX lb pumpkin on their front porch
 
3) There are fork trucks and man-power at weighoffs to load pumpkins
 
Is there any merit to the idea of selling these pumpkins to the general public at these weighoff with the proceeds going to ???
