ohh no, the stem has a soft spot.
ok i applied bleach to the stump as you suggested, there was not much soft
matter luckily. Shall i do this every day now?
I also noticed a soft spot on the pumpkins stem itself and treated this in
the same way, removed the shade to let more sun in (when we get some) and
dry it too. did i do right, everyday applications ok??
