PumPkin Growth

I let a pumpkin set by accident on Aug 18 and after 9 days it now has a circumference of 55.5 inches... it should be right at 60 inches im guessing by tomorrow. Has anybody else ever had a pumpkin grow this fast in 9 days and if so how large did it get.

Here are 9 day old Pepper's OTT Stats for Today:

Circumference = 55.5 (measured parallel to the ground)
Side to Side = 39
Blossom to Stem = 39

OTT = 133.5
OTT Weight = 57 pounds

Still Amazingly Large for a 9 Day Old Pumpkin. I hope I can get it grown fully before the first Freeze which is about Oct 12 on the average for our area.
