bob,
so sorry to here of your loss we lost one to deer about 2 weeks ago in
the 400 lb range after they found out that the pumpkin wasn't as tasty
as they though it should be they went after hubby's cantaloupes we tried
soap they ate that also cheap purfume i think they drank some and what
spilled killed the leaves on the plant bought that store made deer
repelant actually i think it's salad dressing for deer human hair no
effect fence ate the fruit through the wire dried blood didn't even slow
them up but what finally did the trick was we took 10 habenaro peppers,
10 cayanne peppers, 2 eggs and a couple spoons of that dried blood put
it in an old blender on it's last legs whipped the daylights out of it
poured it in a gallon milk jug filled it the rest of the way with water
and set it out to fester in the sun that night we strained out enough to
fill a spray bottle boy was that rough only 1 fruit had teeth marks in
it the next morning but bare spots of dirt were missing here and there
they still pass through the garden but don't eat deb
