Zach, now that we ALL know that Bob Troy may or may not carve pumpkins
at Elk Grove, may I suggest a substitute event? Why not invite Chris
Michalek and some of the other Northwest growers to compete in the
annual NE/NW Memorial Off-the-Shoulder Pumpkin Toss? Chris could
demonstrate his technique, then the rest could step up to the plate.
Should be a big draw.
