Bill,
I saw a device similar to this on a hydraulic lift at a Home Depot store (in the garden department). Maybe you could check it out at one of the stores (betting there's one close to you) and get mfg. name and maybe part numbers. Then use the internet to scout similar parts or mechanisms.

Hi All: Looking for information, has any one on list ever heard of a device that you put in line with the hydraulics on a tractorbucket that will transform the pressure to lbs re lift. I believe it may be used in mixing feed for cattle ???????? Trying to findway to weigh pumpkins in patch before cutting off. Only heard that it was out there, now trying to find one, must be accuratebetween 500 & 1000. Can anyone help. Bill Van
